FUSE Privacy Policy

FUSE is a digital ecosystem for the manufacturing industry that fosters opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.  It is our goal to be transparent about the data we collect about you, how it is used and with whom it is shared.

FUSE is owned and operated by LogicBay (“LogicBay,” “we,” “us,” and/or “our”).  This privacy policy applies to your use of our Services.  This privacy policy applies to GrowWithFUSE.com, FUSE.LogicBay.com, FUSE-branded apps, and other FUSE-related sites, apps, communications and services (“Services”), but excluding services that state that they are offered under a different privacy policy.

This Privacy Policy details:

  • what personally identifiable information is collected from you through the Services, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  • What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  • The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  • How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

The Personal Data that we collect directly from you includes the following:

  • Information you provide when using the Service, for example, setting up a member account and profile, obtaining additional information about our services, requesting customer support, using the "Contact Us" or similar features, signing up for a webinar or contest, or downloading certain content. Information you provide may include an email address, password, first and last name, title, employer name, biographical information, address, phone number, date of birth, and secret questions and answers;
  • Information you provide when setting up a premium member account, such as payment (e.g., credit card) and billing information;
  • Information you provide when setting up a channel or other business account such as business name, business summary, social links, business documents, and payment and billing information;
  • Information from your financial transactions with or through us, such as credit card details;
  • Information about how and when you interact with our Service, such as history on your site activity and information about your contacts with us;
  • Information we automatically collect when you use and interact with our Service, we automatically collect information about your device and your usage of our websites or emails through cookies, web beacons or similar technologies, such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses or other identifiers;
  • Information we automatically collect when you use and interact with our Service about your device and your usage of our services, through log files and other technologies; and
  • Other information you voluntarily submit such as when providing feedback or filling out a survey about your user experience.

We will use the information we collect in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • Operate the FUSE service;
  • Verify your identity and contact information;
  • Provide you with information and services you request;
  • Set up your account;
  • Transact business;
  • Customize your FUSE experience;
  • Communicate with you about your transactions, service updates and other administrative and/or account issues;
  • Send you targeted marketing and promotional offers, based on your privacy preferences;
  • Serve you tailored advertising;
  • Measure and improve the Service;
  • Resolve disputes, address complaints and troubleshoot technical problems;
  • Analyze site and user behavior and prepare aggregated reports;
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations; and
  • Combine your information with information collected from other sources.

We are improving our Services and our Services are dynamic.  As we introduce new features, we may require the collection of new information.  If we collect materially different personal data or materially change how we use your data, we will notify you and may also notify this Privacy Policy.

Any data that you include on your profile and any content you post or social action you take on our Services will be seen by others.

To provide our Service, we may disclose your information to the following parties:

  • Service Providers and Partners - We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such verifying a user, processing accounts, customer service, hosting provider, and for providing related services, such as credit card processing. These companies are required to protect personal information in a manner similar to the way we protect personal information and to use it in accordance with their own privacy policies.
  • Legal and Other Disclosures - We may disclose information when permitted by law or under the good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary under applicable law; to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process served on LogicBay; to protect the property or interests of LogicBay, its agents and employees; investigate fraud; respond to a government request; or to protect personal safety or the public.
  • Sale or Acquisition of Assets - If LogicBay is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of all or a portion of its assets, or in the event of bankruptcy, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on the FUSE service web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information. 

Other than as set forth herein, we will not disclose your information unless we obtain your prior consent or are legally required to do so.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

  • We recommend you review your information regularly to ensure that it is correct, complete and up to date. As a registered user, you can review and change some personal information by accessing My Profile. You may not be able to change some account information online. If you are unable to make your desired change in My Profile, please contact us for assistance. Although we will require you to revalidate your personal information periodically, you should promptly update your personal information if it changes.
  • We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
  • You can request that we close your FUSE account by contacting us using the contact information below. After we close your account, we may retain some information to continue operating the FUSE Service, comply with laws, prevent fraud, assist with investigations, resolve disputes, analyze or troubleshoot programs, enforce our Terms of Service and take actions otherwise permitted by law. If your account or membership is terminated or suspended, we may retain some information to prevent re-registration.

Tracking Technologies/Cookies

LogicBay and our service providers may place anonymous cookies or web beacons on your computer when you visit the site. We use these cookies and web beacons to recognize returning users, provide relevant content, measure traffic and activity on the site, monitor and improve our services and protect against fraud. You can block cookies by changing the settings on your browser but doing so may prevent us from delivering certain services to you. Your browser must be set to accept cookies in order to use our Service as a registered user.  The use of cookies by our partners, affiliates, tracking utility company, and service providers is not covered by our privacy statement. We do not have access or control over these cookies.

Security

We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We have implemented physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that are designed to protect the security of your information.  When you submit sensitive information via the Service, your information is protected both online and offline.

All data in motion over public networks is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. While we use encryption to protect all data transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only team members and third-party service providers who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Links to Other Web Sites - Our site includes links to other web sites (each a “Third Party Site”) whose privacy practices may differ from those of LogicBay. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any Web site you visit before you provide any personal information or complete any transaction with Third Party Sites.

Discussion Forum - LogicBay offers publicly accessible community (discussion) forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Please contact us to request removal of your personal information from our community forum. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

International Users - Our service is hosted in the United States.  If you are accessing our service from Europe, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, retention, and disclosure that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued use of our service, which is governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Notice, and our Terms of Service, you are transferring your personal information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.

Changes to This Policy - We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email or by means of a notice on this site prior to the change becoming effective. Amended terms will take effect immediately.  We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. You agree to accept posting of a revised Privacy Policy electronically on this site as actual notice to you. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent.
